This is a question Ouch!

A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

What was your ouchiest moment?

I too am
in the same position, I wish my snoring was just a nose thing but unfortunately it's the throat. When Mrs. Arrow used to let our cat upstairs she used to get it in stereo, purring from the cat and me snoring. I used to think that she exaggerated but she recorded it the other day and I sounded like a more mutated version of Sloth from the goonies.

Me too, bud.
My fiancee snores SO TERRIBLY. Nose and throat, loud loud snores. I've endured it for nearly 4 years now. My sleep has been poor, it's true. I wake up from his snoring and make sure he's breathing okay by rubbing his chest to wake him a bit.

It pisses me off that most ladies get upset and distance themselves instead of making sure the other half can breathe okay. I only moved to the couch once, because I had work early.

He hates the nose strips so I won't make him wear something that ends up hardly helping him as it turns out, while making him uncomfortable and waking up.

Hell, he's snoring his ass off right now. I live in a 1bd apartment, there's no escape. Nobody should force a surgery though. I'll never leave him. He can lose some pounds, it won't ever stop it fully, but unless it's a direct health hazard, I'll never force a surgery. Get over it, most people. You live with a partner, and you must take them for what they are. Most ladies aren't the breadwinners anyhow, be concerned that he can breathe, not that he's keeping you awake.
