Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

Can this be true? I feel queasy and had to lie down. Did he get to keep his knacker in a little jar beside his bed?

I don't know if they let him keep it, but I doubt he would have asked.He gave me an odd look when I asked but didn't say yes or no.
I like to think they did, it became sentient and he now has an independent adjudicator to help make his decisions.
