Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

argh!Whoever started this "if you can wiggle your fingers it's not broken" rumour should be shot!
It took my a week to convince my mother to let me get x-rays when I broke my wrist.

the worst thing wasthe doctor said it wasn't broken at first, until i pointed out that you could see the break quite clearly.
he just said "oh yes, i must have missed that"....
