Nothing instills confidence more than overhearing a builder on the site opposite muttering "Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey" to himself.

I get that and find security affects me similarly. You would think I would have got over it after:
Being Stopped at customs and just asked what I was doing in the country and whether I had any booze and fags, which I didn't -- just about 40 stick of liquorice though she didn't even so much as look at my case.
Forgetting to take some scisors out of the bag I used as carry-on and being convinced they weren't there even when seeing them on screen -- which resulted in the terrible punishment of having to leave them with the security woman who was chuckling at my scatter-brainedness.
Being complimented on my choice of "duty free" booze (5 year old Genever) by the guys at Schipol.
Yet, despite the above being nothing but positive I still get nervous about security and customs. Mind you, I didn't help myself last time I came home from Amsterdam by watching Locked Up Abroad after a night on the Jaegerbombs the night before my departure.
