50% tax? Like fuck. Why the fuck should I work hard (well, work; wWell, show up to my office every day) if I'm only getting paid for half the time I'm there? I really couldn't give a shit about all this poverty bollocks. It's the natural order of things, survival of the fittest and that's that.

It would actually be counter-productive to mankind to take away the finer things in life. Technology and all the benefits it brings is driven by greed. Take that away and we'd be in the shit. You only have to look at the state of the USSR before it went tits up to see where sharing the wealth gets you.

Yes, it sucks that some people are dying while others drive a Veyron, but that's life. Get over it.
