FWB: well, I rather resent the idea that I'll finish my degree some £20 000 in debt, particularly considering that those who implemented top-up fees enjoyed the benefits of student grants and a free university education, before burning the ladder up which they themselves climbed so that the rest of us cannot do the same.

I expect YOU THE TAXPAYER to fund my education, because I am of that generation which expects everything handed to me on a plate, or something.
