You sound like my type.
I've tried (in vain) many times to reassure various girlfriends that they were not in anywhere near as much danger as they seemed to think they were. All anyone really needs to do is keep calm and make eye contact and stand their ground to avoid being hassled. (Within reason, of course- drunks with weapons are another story.)

I like women who truly want to be equals. I'm fortunate enough to have a few of them in my life.
