I get annoyed when the well known three wheeler the Reliant Robin is called a Robin Reliant. I drive a Renault Megane. Under no circumstances do I call it a Megane Renault. In common parlance the Manufacturer is said before the Model. Let's keep it that way please.

I've always called it a Reliant Robin. Doesn't sound right the other way round.

Are there any of those still around? I saw one after an accident once, and it had kind of crumbled. Not like a crumple zone, actually crumbled. Into little pieces. Scary.

.. they had a fibreglass body... and they became brittle with time if they were light coloured.. The resin isn't UV proof...

Dammit... Instead of being cathartic, this QOTW is giving me MORE things that bug me!!... I hadn't realised before that "Robin Reliant" pissed me off so much...

Bet they'd baulk a "Kitten Reliant"

I always call them Robin Reliants, but I will try and change my ways. However, do you not think people started calling them this because they weren't reliant?
