Oh dear godNothing anyone can really say. Even the standard, I'm sorry for your loss, just doesn't really do it.
What a crap thing to happen. All the platitudes like 'they were doing something they loved', 'at least they didn't die of a long, lingering illness'...doesn't really make any difference, they're still gone.
