No, not at all
If I see a post with 40+ replies I check to see if there is anything interesting, if not, I move on. Not the end of the world, by any means. It's what the reply button is for, and frankly if people can't handle you guys chatting, well they shouldn't be here if they can't figure out the use of the ignore button.
