Petty Officials
Bob de Bilde says: A traffic warden threatened to call the police and have me arrested because "It's illegal to take photos in the street. You might be a paedophile". I was taking a picture of a funny street sign, over which I had no plans to masturbate. Tell us about petty officials talking bollocks.

Don't help promote our cinema/films!
Walking out of watching a film at the Odeon, and saw a poster for the newest Thing movie, decided to take a picture to let my friends know it was coming out. A staff member told me to delete the picture from my phone due to copyright.
I restored karma though by going to see it twice at another cinema.

What on earth is wrong with you?
This sorts of thing is a golden opportunity to fuck with the terminally stupid...
You could stand there, nodding, looking like you hear his concerns and are going to act on them, but simply saying and doing nothing. Gradually cranking up the concern.
Or you could just walk off very slowly, with the guy following, in a long circuit around the lobby, speeding up and seeing at what point he has to break into a jog.
Or you can thunder out an absurdly theatrical maniacal laugh, and run away shouting "FREE COPIES OF MOVIE POSTERS ON MY PHONE... AHAHAHA!! THEY'LL NEVER CATCH ME!!!"
Or you could just delete it off your phone so you have a really lame anecdote, and then boycott that cinema in a manner that its owners, and this staff member, will never ever notice.

I think there may have been extenuating circumstances to be fair it was a preview screening of Real Steal and there was even a biggish bloke on the door telling people to turn off there phones or they wouldn't be let in/or be thrown out or both probably.
Plus when this woman said it to me I think it just blind sided me really, and anything for a quite life really, shame really because I've been going to that cinema since 1989 when it opened and even though it's getting a little run down I've got a real soft spot for it.
Don't get me wrong though it was really stupid on behalf of the cinema what was the worst possible thing I could have done with that photograph? It's not like I could have even gone home and printed one off.

Well I could have printed one off, but it would have looked nothing like a proper poster.
