I know I'm not too likely to come across these on my way to work in the centre of Edinburgh, but that doesn't mean they haven't sussed out a plan to get me at some point.

The funny deep sea armoured thingy looks mean, but if it's used to life at the very bottom of the deep oceans, bringing it anywhere near the surface would make it decidedly unwell.

Horseshoe crabs! Funny looking feckers, but there is something about those legs poking out from underneath the armour. If they had caterpillar tracks instead they'd be a whole lot less sinister.

Centipedes...

*shudder* there are posionous centipedes out there with front legs full of venom. Nasty. In prehistoric times they grew huge too.

i have no problem with horseshoe crabs
they've been around for millions of years and haven't changed a bit since before the time of the dinosaurs. obviously nature thinks their design is just right.
