Phobias
What gives you the heebie-jeebies?
It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*
Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Wake up damn you!
I use a digital alarm which happily beeps away until I am annoyed enough to wake up. I can and do do this whenever I need to be up for a certain time. As do most smart people with devices of a time telling nature.
However, I am not a morning person. My body knows this. It *loves* to sleep. It gorges on dreams and soft pillows and lie-ins. It has come to associate the dreaded beeps with a venemous loathing as it anticipates the things it will be made to do once awake. Like walking about and moving...
As such, every time I so much as *think* I hear an alarm clock beep, I freeze. My skin crawls. My mind stops. Panic starts to seep in and I have to make it stop.
Make it stop! Agh!

I get this
When you hear an alarm clock on TV, even though I don't use a beepy alarm anymore, it still makes me freeze.
My tip is to use a song on your phone, or get one of those iPod alarm clocks, that way the song that wakes you up varies and you won't get this reaction to a particular song.
Or just use one "feel good" song. My alarm at the moment is "Just Fine" by Mary J. Blige - and I still react to it when it comes on, but because I like the song, it's not bad.

I thought i was the only one lol :)
I use my mobile phone as an alarm clock, and unfortunately the alarm makes the same beep beforehand, as the text alert. So whenever i get a text I physcally jolt with dread when it beeps. Funny to the onlooker lol.

This little program along with my PC's rather meaty speakers never fails to wake me up in th'morn. Well, me and the rest of the street.
Nothing quite like waking up suddenly at 6:30 to IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME with the volume set to 10.
