This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

On
A completely unrelated topic, I've recently discovered the joys of e-book torrents.

Just downloaded a library of 800+ science fantasy and science fiction books.

OK - I've read at least 400 of them but that still leaves 400 I *haven't*.

*Drools*

Outrage!
Totally off topic, and downloading?

Isn't that breaking the law?

Me?
Break the law?

Shurely you know me better than that.

I have the utmost respect for the law, orifice.

Is
Iain M Bank's new book 'Matter' on that list?

You can't curl up on the sofa or in bed...
With an E-book.

Err
No Banks I'm afraid.

And as for curling up in bed with an E-Book? That's what laptops are for....

Seriously. I often take my laptop to bed and read. The only limit I set myself is that I must only use battery. When that runs down, I have to go to sleep.

Mains is cheating and would also mean that I'd get no sleep..

Sorry leggy!
Is not the same as a good old well worn book and snuggling under the covers.

HA!
Paper is dead! Dead I tell you.

Regardez my paperless office.

Covered in paper....

Either side of the keyboard are piles of notes. The walls are covered in diagrams, website layout and logic. Beside me, my cork pinboard, again, covered in scribbled notes. At my foot, to the left, piles of manuals and reference books I'm currently using, to my right, wastebin overflowing with paper.

I'm a one-man environmental disaster zone.

Trees? Fuck 'em

Cheers
