... was 5 feet 0 inches tall. These days they wouldn't have been allowed to chop his head off - instead they'd have had to stick an extra head on top of his original one.

FDR was in a wheelchair. It is amazing that he didnt let his handicap stop him. whats even more amazing is that he took great pains to make himself appear normal. How many people are like that today?
