It's saying you can't sleep with the same sex in the same way you sleep with the opposite sex. At face value it doesn't in fact say lesbians are good or bad. That's probably why it's the gays that get all the bad religious press.

How do you interpret this?Is it saying you shouldn't? or stating that this sort of thing is a physiological impossibility (which it is) and then commmenting on how much of an abomination this impossibility is?

When I read itthe passage said something like "It is forbidden for a man to lie with mankind as he lies with a woman". The pivitol word here is mankind. This basically means don't be a prostitute - lying with mankind. The whole thing about gays was from people who either translated it wrong or who mistranslated it on purpose for their own agenda.
Me, even as a Catholic, I couldn't care less if a man wants to have consentual sex with another man. Its his life. And I hate those (christians or otherwise) that make out that it is unnatural. So is flying, yet we've all been on a plane!

Although I'm not attracted to men, or boys for that matter, in the animal kingdom it isn't unusual for males to have sex with each other, chimps do it. will they all be going to hell? as humans are the only species on the planet that worship a god or gods, will every single other animal on the planet have a one way ticket to the fiery depths of Lucifer's world?
