I feel your pain
My cat (one of two) got run over last year, still haven't got fully over it. Pets eh? their life spans are so unfair.

And Parrots are cool but caged birds aren't my thing tortoises are a bit boring, but they do live for ages. I think we have one buried in back garden because someone has written, Joe 1890-1962. I hope it's a tortoise anyway :\
