This is a question Prejudice

"Are you prejudiced?" asks StapMyVitals. Have you been a victim of prejudice? Are you a columnist for a popular daily newspaper? Don't bang on about how you never judge people on first impressions - no-one will believe you.

Weirdly, my mum, who is a retired teacher, and one of those people who's REALLY irritating about grammar
- you know - the sort who will correct you:

"I was sat over there ... "

"sitting"

has recently discovered texting, and uses text-speak all the time. Still doesn't get the LOL not meaning Lots Of Love, though.

"Hi V bn 2 c jenny hr cancer is bak lol m"

You can say "I was sat over there".
It is grammatically correct... if someone actually directed you to sit over there...
