Why? Coke is more or less as addictive - it just tends to be taken by people who can afford it and they tend to take it entirely for fun, despite how much the production of it fucks up people's lives.
So, why is a heroin addict who (generally speaking) takes drugs for escapism worse than someone who takes drugs for crapulous pleasure?
