Parking Attendants
This might only be applicable to Edinburgh but...I've found Traffic Wardens (employed by the Police) to be reasonable people who will let you off with a chat or give you a chance to explain yourself.


Parking attendants (employed by the council) are utter filthy cunts. The worst kind, there's a layer of hell Dante doesnt even know abuot reserved for them!

My dream job
Council Traffic Warden* so I can take out all of my petty hatred and neurosis on the public and feel justified about doing it.

My local ASDA has an officious Fartbreather who tells people off for parking too long! Well employ more till staff you shit stained monkey fucker!

I used to work in Sureways in Chelsea - the office that collected the fines - in the post room
We got one through with a note saying "Who the fuck are you - Tony Blair's personal trained fucking MONKEY?!"

The time on the ticket was 0901 01-01-01.

Watch where they park their vans
Quite often they'll park in marked bays as well, and according to their own 'rules' if you're parked in a marked bay then you HAVE to have a ticket, the only exception to this are emergency vehicles called out on an emergency.
There's a twat that works in Christchurch that got rather grotty with me when I took photos of him in his van eating his sarnies on a lunch break because he didn't have a ticket.
Weirdly Christchurch Borough Council agreed with me.

Play them at their own game as well, it's great if it's a private carpark as well, quite often I've seen council traffic dicks parking in private car parks to do the rounds, a nice thick chain through the wheel and attached to the towing eye works wonders.
