This is a question Professions I Hate

Broken Arrow says: Bankers, recruitment consultants, politicians. What professions do you hate and why?

Anyone with the word 'agent' or 'consultant' in their title
**As my old man used to say, "A consultant is someone who borrows your watch to tell you the time".**

I still can't see the value of Estate Agents either, now that the internet provides a far more powerful forum for buyers and sellers. Who needs a spotty oik in a cheap suit and spiky hair to show them round someone else's house?

And as for recruitment consultants... I daren't even start writing about them in case I end up breaking my keyboard. (I'm sure anyone who works in IT or something requiring really specific skill sets, will sypmathise).

The only 'agents' I'll forgive, are secret agents, as I've never knowingly met one, (and I don't plan on becoming a terrorist).

**That was when he was in senior management... Then he quit and became a management consultant...

Recruitment Consultants
Oh yeah. Big time. The lying wretches. The ones that phone our office claiming to be customers, or employees, or even that they're working on a 'project with you in this area'. All they're trying to do is to bamboozle the receptionist into getting put through to someone in tech.

If I ever catch the one who called "for a password reset", I will write my name on the M6 in their entrails, using their gonads for punctuation.
