Professions I Hate

Tax Refund Arseholes
This might just be a NZ thing, but I'm sick of getting accosted at the mall by someone who guarantees me a massive tax refund if I simply give them my details. The one time I was suckered into giving over my personals I received a bill from the taxman for $150-odd. Yet whenever I tell one of those pricks that after their spiel, they always pause and say "Well...that's very unusual. It certainly wouldn't happen with us!"
Whatever, cunt.

Probably is an NZ thing
I've never come across them, but it strikes me that they're essentially accusing you of being too stupid to get your taxes right. Which would shit me too.
However, I suppose you could then take it that when they say it's unusual for them not to get you more money, what they mean is "err.. so you're smart enough to get it right yourself? How strange." and it's therefore a compliment.

If they guarantee a large refund
that's fraud - they can't say that to everyone without lying to either their customers or the tax office.

The worst thing is that
I'm a student so I know that they don't owe me any money. I owe them about $40k so I prefer to just leave the tax department to themselves.
