I was one of the first years to have to payTuition fees. I went on one protest march. About 40 of us marched round town for 30 minutes whilst a couple of local journalists took photos, then we went to the pub and spent the rest of the afternoon getting absolutely twatted.
In retrospect, there may have been more effective channels of protest I might have pursued.
