I didn't actuallyget to see Fight Club until a couple of year later. This probably happened around the time that it was in the cinema though, so maybe I'd heard someone talking about it and subconsciously stored the idea for later use. I remember seeing the film a couple of years later and thinking "Hey, that was my idea!" though.
