This is a question Pubs

Jeccy writes, "I've seen people having four-somes, fights involving spastics and genuine retarded people doing karaoke, all thanks to the invention of the common pub."

What's happened in your local then?

Errr....
Pubs? What pubs?

There's none left open round my way any longer :-(

Get a plank of wood, place it across a few breeze blocks,
Some cans of beer, few bottles of spirits, a few tables, steal some beer mats and ashtrays. Hey presto! Open your own pub in your garage!

Sound's like my brother's 'home pub'
When he was about 16/17 he set up a bar in his bedroom - marble topped table, home brew kegs, couple of optics...all enhanced by the Jack Daniel's promotional crap he found in a skip: bar towels, beer mats, a poster....

It was, mate
Our parents looked upon it with wry amusement.

20+ years on, he's an alcoholic.

Hmmmmmmm......

I did
actually do this - it was a blast when the pubs used to shut at 11 - everyone would pile back to mine.

I even made fake rocks for the walls so it looked like a 17th century pub.

Had the pumps, arcade game, fruity and even a payphone!

Well, if you had that....
...but now don't, in an area where there are no pubs, then quite frankly you've made a rod for your own back!

Rebuild the pub! Rebuild it now!

It
used to be in my garage, but then I moved to a flat that didn't have one.

Still, moving next week again, and this time there's a garage once again! Woot!
