Pure Fury
A friend's dad once stormed up to me and threatened to "punch your stupid face in" because I pointed a camera at him. I was 11. Have you ever done something innocent or made a harmless joke that ended in threats to your person? Tell us about it.
Thanks to Skullfunkerry for the suggestion

DEAR INTERNET USER
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE CROWN WITHDREW THE CHARGE OF SPEEDING, SINCE IT OFCCURED PRIOR TO YOUR ASSAULT PC.

His fists of fury must have scared them off.
I, for one, am glad that INTERNETLAWYERMAN is here, as he lends this thread some much needed gravitas.

DEAR INTERNET USER
THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS.
I COULD UNDERSTAND A CPS DECISION TO DROP THE ASSAULT PC CHARGE AS THE OFFICER'S CONDUCT FELL WELL BELOW THE STANDARDS SET OUT IN THE PACE CODES, HOWEVER, THE EVIDENCE IN RELATION TO THE SPEED AT WHICH THE INTERNET DEFENDANT WOULD HAVE REMAINED VITALLY IMPORTANT...

Quite simply...
...the traffic cop's word was worthless, given that he'd verbally abused me (and had been recorded doing so).
Also, CPS equation. Speeding == fine. Assault police == up to 6 months (serve 3).
They withdrew both when the recording of the verbal abuse was played back.

Whilst I would hate to side with INTERNETLAWYERMAN*
The conduct or otherwise of the officer concerned has no bearing on the speeding charge, that being unequivocal, what with the car having recording gear.
*because, apart from anything else, the fucker would charge me for typing this

DEAR INTERNET USER
THIS IS ANOTHER COMMON MISCONCEPTION.
YOU MAY WELL BE ENTITLED TO FREE INTERNET LEGAL ADVICE IN CASES WHERE YOU FACE A CRIMINAL ALLEGATION.MEANS TESTING IS IN PLACE IN RELATION TO MAGISTRATES' COURT MATTERS AND YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY A CONTRIBUTION TO LEGAL AID
YOU MAY WELL BE ENTITLED TO HAVE YOUR CASE RUN ON A NO WIN NO INTERNET FEE BASIS IN RELATION TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY.

Inescapable conclusion: RabidRodent is Above The Law.
We should drop this, now, before he flicks his pony tail and destroys us all with his Aikido moves.
