Went to see Natacha Atlas in concert at Hackney Ocean.For those that don't know, she used to front a 90's dub, drum n' bass and dance band called Transglobal Underground. She's half Egyptian and half French, and does that Arabic wailing thing really really well. She is also very fit and bellydances.
She came on, and the band dropped, and she started singing very softly, building up to a crescendo, and him over there with the skinhead goes very loudly, "Oh for fack's sake this is awl that fackin Paki taxi droiver music innit?!"
