Nah .. QOTW materialWe could talk about the "Delays until December 2008" sign.
Does that really mean a roadworks-related traffic holdup in which we can expect to remain in our cars for a year? In which those without adequate provisions will need to be kept supplied by aid convoys via the hard shoulder? In which we can expect claims that relationships were made and small families conceived and born between lanes 1 and 2?
Or does it mean we'll just have to add 20 minutes to our journey every day for the next year?
