The end of innocenceI told a mate who was a mere 22 years old that the song 'turning Japanese' by Adam and the ants is actually about a prisoner wanking in his cell over tabloid photographs.

turning japanese was by the vapours.and it's less specifically about a prisoner, and rather an observation that when caucasians wank, we screw up our faces when orgasm hits (thus rendering our eyes more squinty and almond-shaped, like asians have).
the description is a bit racist (though somewhat more innocent and benign than overtly negative and harmful) and was well-known when i was a child, so it predates the song by a good many years.

I respect postbear's superiour wanking info.but I still think its a good qotw. Plus the fact i ruined someones innocent enjoyment of a song, through revealing quasi-racist wankface details.
