I've been on one!I was sent on a letter and report writing course by an employer as she didn't like my "severely abbreviated and terse style".
Her letter to the organisers was held up in the course as " the most verbose and roundabout piece of writing I have seen outside a victorian novel. Why doesn't this person get to the point?".
She was less than impressed at my 97% pass mark.
