This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Public Transport
Most of us have to use it, and from my experience most of us hate it. For instance, I got scowled at, and actually growled at, by a bus driver just because I didn't have the ridiculous amount of change he wanted as the fair.

What rubbish experiences have you had?

Me and my friend
Were travelling on the bus in Edinburgh just after the 7/7 bombings.

A lady in one of those islamic dresses looking all shifty had a backpack and wandered upstairs - and with the entire top of the bus empty she decided to sit RIGHT in front of me and my mate. Clearly she was upto some kamikaze no good.

2 stops later she got up and left. I'm still alive.

^yeah
but the question itself is quite good.

My stories: probably the usual pervyness and being knocked off my sodding bike by sodding london bus drivers not looking where they're sodding going. sods.

^^
Public Transport may be officially shit, but that would only make the stories more entertaining.

Must have that van driver shot sometime.

^ Oh yes, the van driver
Put it on your list of instant deaths for when you take over the country.

THe bus driver basically forced me into a row of parked cars cycling along Waterloo bridge: he was going faster than me, but instead of swinging wide a bit to overtake me, he decided to just close in on me. So it was crash into someone's wing mirror, or go under the wheels of a bendy bus. Git. Some people just don't like cyclists.
