Have you ever started a rumour?How outrageous was it?
Did it have any unforeseen consequences?
I have been spreading a rumour every Christmas that the chipolata in bacon is actually a representation of a pig's penis, which it originally was (not).

Every winteras the first flake of snow fell, a rumour would fly around the office that "the buses won't be running beyond the city boundary". Pretty soon management would give in and all us out-of-towners would be released (me included of course).
I never started it.
