This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Dating disasters
When your blind date turns up late, drunk and reeking of vomit, you're probably in for a rough evening. Tell us about your dating disasters so we can sympathise and/or laugh.

What is this "dating" of which you speak?

Ah.
Good point.

Wait! This is the internet! We can talk about internet dating!

It has to be more than internet dating or it may
not get enough attention. Good suggestion anyways.

I once went on a double date.
The girls were very pretty, and very boring; prissy and conceited. Quickly silence settled upon the group.

This being Back In The Day, there was an ashtray on the table, and I prodded it with my cigarette, bored, and said casually to my friend, "Hey look mate - it's your mum."

"Oh that's absolutely disgusting, and totally disrespectful!" said one of the girls, and they both left, leaving me and my friend to enjoy a thoroughly good evening of heavy drinking and talking about music.

Well done
for not being shallow and trying to get in there anyway, that's straight from my school of dating...Love it!
