I Quit!
Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."
What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

I quit being a student.
In between sleeping, watching hours of InuYasha and spending quality time with Mr Maladicta, my quest for gainful employment (and I am waiting for THE call at the moment about an interview I had on Tuesday) is not going brilliantly, and as QOTW has kind of slowed to the point of being dead, I don't feel too bad about rambling like a loon. I'm feeling the strain as I have two weeks to get a job before my lease here runs out, and after that I have nowhere to go other than back to the parental nest on the other side of the country, which I desperately don't want to do, as it will involve leaving Mr Maladicta behind, and neither of us are good with long distance so things would have to end. If I do, then we can get a flat and I can leave my student accommodation early (and get away from my housemates, who get on my tits).
*goes back to glaring at her phone*

Sorry, but it was just sitting there and you didn't notice because you're glaring at the phone.

Have some soup instead.
No, it's not cake soup, that would be horrible.
Oooh, come to think of it though....
