A couple of years back I watched a kid doing exactly this to cars ahead of me.As I approached him, it was clearly my turn, so I turned the tables on him and directed my car straight at where he was standing on the pavement. The look on his face as I swerved away at the last moment was priceless.

I'd applaud you for this,but I can't bring myself to condone dangerous driving on a public highway.
That kid was an amateur - you don't do it to a succession of cars, for precisely this reason.
