Anyone who doesn't treat you as an equal is a piece of shit.Goes for many relationships, one of my favourites being a boss who was "... not your friend ... " and "...will respect you when you earn it ... " -- just a shame the fucker got a new job.
Oh, back on topic, I do think that relationships should start with mutual respact -- I just think anyone who subsequently treats you with less respect ought to be avoided.
