My apologies for this.At first I thought it read that she was shagging your gay friend (apologies for that by the way), but then I reread.
Gay friends can be wolves in sheep's clothings vis-a-vis girlfriends. I have a cousin who always hung out with her gay friend with her husband's blessing; figured they could do the girls' night out, etc. Turns out, every time she and her husband had a spat, GayFriend (for that was his super hero name)would slip her his poopie penie to help her relax.
This did not end well for any involved.

He was, I discovered, not the first...The guy she was shagging didn't know he was gay...so he apparently he was quite surprised when he found out from me later (I nicely worded letter basically detailing her history with me, which was quite different from the story she told him). He was told the relationship had broken down. Her screaming at me down the phone because I'd destroyed her fantasy life was a nice touch.
