This is a question Rubbish Towns

I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

totally disagree
Think of a better city outside of london with more history, more things to do and see, more beautiful, - you simply cant. Birminghma - what has it got apart from canals. Manchester has a football club and shops. Liverpool has all of these, plus a rich history - most of which England owes alot of its success to.

A friend of mine recently brought his french girlfriend to liverpool and couldnt get over how boring the other citys were compared to. (bar london)

Seriously, Liverpoool crime rate isnt something to bring up anymore, as there are worse citys to think of first.

Getting into fights in liverpool? Impretty sure they happen in every city.

Liverpool is a filth infested, criminal shithole.

In the year I lived there we were burgled 5 times. I'm sure times have changed but I doubt the pond-life have.

I also met a girl there who wanted to be 'done' while being suspended by her ankles. (Irrelevant but amusing)

well
where about in Liverpool did you live?

I've lived here for years, and we once had a bike taken out of the shed when it was left unlocked.

And I live in an average (by liverpool standards) area.

your having a laugh arent you...

and the shops...

and...well.. I wont go down the football route...

Newcastle is pretty cool. It just doesnt compare to Liverpool in my eyes... its alot smaller too. and i dont even live in liverpool. Fair enough it has its issues, and its bad areas .... but hasnt every city?

Its just got this horrible stereotype :(
