There are a few Brazilian shopsdotted around the UK.
They sell the beef that is used on Brazilian barbecues. It is top quality fillet, in 2kg lumps.
It's so cheap in Brazil that they buy it, ship it here, and still sell if for less than you'd pay for local rump steak.
Works out about £7/lb. I buy one every couple of months, have them carve it into 3 or 4 pieces and stick it in the freezer. Cut it fine and flash fry it on a hot plate, it's fucking lovely.
