Money-saving tips
I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Remove the flint and spring from the defunct lighter
De-coil/Stretch out the spring as long as it will go and wrap one end tightly around the flint so its held securely. Take end of de-coiled spring between thumb and forefinger (the end without the flint in) and then proceed to use your other lighter to heat up the flint. Eventually it will start to glow a nice redish colour, and thanks to the uncoiled spring being so thin, most of the heat will dissapate and not even reach the finger/thumb you are holding the other end with. For best results, use the blue bit of the flame, not the yellow bit.
Lob it hard at the floor. Hey presto, sparklies.
either that, or stick it in your clipper when the flint in there runs out?
*do not try this indoors. I take no responsibility for anything that happens. Ever.
