In regards to Bike Insurance Be very careful if you use MCE insurance (who will go on many comparison sites). They cost me a huge sum and I had to take them for a tribunal to get it refunded after they made several huge errors.
Another tip, phone up the Insurer direct and ask if they can offer a cheap deal. I ended up with the official Suzuki insurer for my bike and the cost was less than £200 fully comp on my custom SV.
