Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

Playing footballSomebody tried to tackle me, and their foot got me straight in the knee. This was back in the day of proper studs, not those silly plastic blades they all have nowadays, and he hit me with such force that my knee had a hole in it which was the exact shape and depth of the stud in question. That bled a lot, I can tell you. Have a lovely circular scar now.
