This is a question Schadenfreude

There's nothing like administering first aid to cyclist who has just spanged into the back of a milk float when you have tears of laughter running down your face. The world is just one long episode of You've Been Framed - when have you laughed at the misfortune of others?

I live in Vermont in the NE US
where it is usually pretty snowy in the winter (except for this crappy year). People who live up here get pretty used to driving in the snow and generally know enough not to drive too fast and realize that 4-wheel drive helps you go faster but doesn't help you stop. The people coming up here to go skiing are sometimes from places where the don't have much snow. It it snowed at home they would act like nuclear war hit them, but once up here in their rented cars/SUV's/Hummers they seeing everyone else driving, sithey think it is ok and they try to drive like they would back home.

Thinking we are all al bunch of dumb hicks, a lot of them get impatient with how slowly we drive and pass you and fly off at full speed, as often as not then ending up in a ditch a short way down the road. Many people who a truck or SUV that could pull a car out of a snowback always carry a big chain to pull people out with. For $50, minimum, more if they were real assholes. Money up front.

If they refuse to pay, you can drive off. The look of panic is worht the loss of money.

(we don't usually charge nice people, just jerks)
