My friend learned in advance he was to be awarded with the school attendance ribbonWho knew it was even possible to not miss at least one day of school in four years? Anyway, he thought, wouldn't it be ironic to absent himself from the awards ceremony at the school assembly? So, shortly after the assembly began, he quietly got up and shuffled for the exits.
Irony knew no bounds. The administrators had locked the exits.
