Actually, I can trump that.We had a maths teacher who came in and asked her generally unruly class to behave a bit better, because her husband had died over the weekend...
Not the wisest move, in retrospect. Kids are shits.

Try having a teacher from Iraq during the 2003 invasion...Actually we were pretty nice to him.
Mainly because we were shit scared of the deputy principal who gave such a hateful, threatening speech the week before he started.
No, to be fair he was pretty cool. Nice guy, who got along with the students and cared about his work.
