Do people do projects that don't involve google-cut-paste any more? What fine tat have you glued together for teacher?

GlueIn primary school we were tasked with drawing fish, for a big pond display on the wall. Once we had finished and cut out our loving creations, the teacher told us to thinly spread glue over each one. She told us not to worry that the glue was white, as by the morning it would have dried clear, providing a lovely shiny surface to our carefully drawn scales.
In the morning, we rushed into the classroom to find a host of solid, white fish shapes. It seems she had provided us with a different glue to the stuff she had tested the concept with.
