It's generally about this point that someone points out your lack of icon, implying that you haven't contributed financially to the upkeep of this messageboard.
They'd probably go on to discuss the fact that the coding and maintenance for all the boards is done for free by people who have day jobs and can only get around to working on the increasingly complicated architecture of b3ta when they have the time.

And they might even conclude with some reference to the old "this free facility is shit" viewpoint common all over the web.

From previous discussions over this issue, dealing with all these sorts of things takes a surprising amount of time.
If you consider the Bugs and whatnot thread, the Mail Us form, and the abundance of gaz that people get on the subject, actually responding to them all would be pretty time consuming. I'm not saying doing nothing about it is the right way to handle it, but that's how I understand the situation is with all the requests.

There was a fairly infamous thread a while back when someone inadvisedly suggested that cr3 needed to "man the fuck up and sort all this out", which brought a lot of this to light.

If search worked, I could probably find the thread for you...
