I suspect he's having a moment of clarity and realising that bragging about punching a pilled-up stranger at a party makes him look like a prick.He'll start back-tracking soon and claim he exaggerated for comic effect or the drug-addled innocent was actually a lairy kickboxer or sutin.

The exchanges were a little more heated than that. I ent a fighter.but to have included them would have made a boring story twice as long.
