This is a question Self-Inflicted injuries

Spanishfly asks: Ever injured yourself in a moment of frustration? When have you ever done something stupid or sensible that has ended up with you injured? Punched an Asda sign because they didn't have tiger bread? Yeah, us too

This isn't a question about intentional self-harm

I still think "pitched my hootchie" should be a euphemism.

Again?
A slapper would've been preferred tbh
But probably wouldn't have kept the rain off me quite as much.

Trust me, after 2 day of solid rain whilst hiking and 3 river crossings - anything warm would've been appreciated.

"slapper" almost sounds like a type of tent, too.
Starting to think you're doing this on purpose.

Ahh.
As I get up in the morning and move the heavy flaps aside. And climb out of the moist surroundings into the bright sunlight.

Sounds alright, that does.
Greeting each new day as though it were your first.

I like that.

Indeed!
