Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.
What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

lighten up.
But when one talks about equality in terms of "equal rights" one expects the rights of the two sexes to be identical, not just "not inherantly (sic) better or worse".
Many rights are tailored to the sexes, quite rightly imho (consider positive discrimination laws designed to level the playing field) due to the fact that we are not equal, this is all I am saying (by way of a slightly provocative argument).
Don't get all hot in the collar and irrational about it.

Someone responds calmly but negatively to your misguided post and you say 'don't get all hot in (sic) the collar...about it'?
Don't wander on here with poorly composed waffle and then whine when someone disagrees.
Of course men and women aren't equal, you twat. The argument is that they be treated equally (where possible).

it was an obviously provocative statement and was intended to be lighthearted.
My "misguided" post was simply a bit of banter, the reason I said "lighten up", was because it wasn't supposed to cause offence, or be serious; it's just a pedantic play on a 17th century philosopher's law.
Also, all it attempts to show is what you have just said, minus the thing about me being a twat.

are being pretty serious.
didn't assume you weren't also.
soz.
though my point still stands for anyone who actually believes that stuff.

I can understand your irritation with people who take it seriously, i guess I probably overlooked that possibility as whenever I have such conversations, they are just friendly (if a little elaborate) banter.
Besides, I love women...
